Almost 11 years ago, I embarked on an ambitious project when I was accepted into the academic PhD studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, the same faculty where I earned my Master’s degree in Printing and Illustration back in 1998.
Even though it took me much longer than I expected, I completed my studies in the summer of 2021, finishing all exams and organizing an exhibition entitled the same as my PhD thesis:”Pixel in Tradition or Tradition in Art,” which included several works that bonded painting, printing, and textiles.
Only few weeks ago I got the opportunity to collect the final diploma and enjoy the company of other people celebrating their achievements and accomplishments.
The whole process and experience was an amazing opportunity to explore and expand the knowledge about some new and exciting things that are happening in the world of art and design, but it’s also a reminder that almost everything is possible and achievable.

I already posted about my favorite and probably the easiest way of installing zipper pulls to a zipper tape, without any tools, but now that I got these adorable fancy gold rose zippers from a local store, I thought I should share again!
Just trim the zipper tape’s teeth only by a few millimeters, enough to be able to pinch the remaining tape with your fingers and pull!

It’s been 10 years since the release of my first fabric collection called Indelible ( #indeliblefabrics ) for @artgalleryfabrics and I feel so nostalgic about that. I found some clips that I filmed ( sorry for the horizontal formatting) and used for the video for the launch of the collection.
Such precious and beautiful memories, especially seeing my kids being kids❤️ And willing to collaborate😅
It’s been such an incredible journey and I can’t be more thankful for all your amazing support and love throughout this amazing fabric design adventure.
